What is a Versalift?
Versalift is a proprietary and product name under the brand Custom Mobile Equipment Inc. The company was established in 1993 by Gary Dick. The objective was to create and manufacture material handling equipment that was both reliable and accessible. The company began operations in Lawrence, Kansas, where it rented office and manufacturing space from Cutler Repaving. Now, it is based out of its own facility in Baldwin City, Kansas. The company currently have 29,250 square feet for assembly, painting, and fabrication, along with 750 square feet for offices.
The Versalift is a specialist forklift with many advantageous features. These include many customisable options to cater to a plethora of individual needs. Versalift Features

The most popular model in the Versalift range, the 40/60 is a heavy duty forklift with a surprisingly narrow width of only 1755mm. This model is designed to provide powerful lifting and manoeuvrability capabilities with ease. This piece of heavy duty machinery offers a powerful 40 thousand pound lifting capacity with the base retracted and 60 thousand pounds with an extended base.
Versalfit 60/80 Extendible Frame Truck
This Versatile model has been ergonomically designed to offer users a larger lifting capacity. This mighty machine can handle load weights of up to 80 thousand pounds with ease and even more with the counterweight attachment. Once the attachment is added, the 60/80 will have no problem handling loads up to one thousand pounds.
